NEW SALE ORDER FOR BORDERWAY MONTHLY DAIRY DAY SALES
The process for cataloguing and producing the sale order for the Borderway Monthly Dairy Day sale held on the first Wednesday on the month will now be changed from a ballot on sale day to alphabetical order of the Vendor’s trading name. Starting with the letter ‘A’ in January this year and every month the order moves on by nine letters.
The main reason for the change is to help with the penning and cattle flow on sale days and also having consulted with a number of buyers they would prefer to know in advance the order of sale.
The new sale order for the remainder of this year is detailed below.
The Catalogue and Sale Order has now been split into four groups and will be sold in the following order:
The Alphabetical Selling Order will be applied to all Four Groups.
If a Vendor who has entered in a Sale and wishes to bring extra animals, he may do so and have them sold and stalled with those lots already entered, providing notification is made to our Pedigree Office by 9.30am on the day prior to Sale.
A Vendor, who has NOT already entered into the catalogue, may still make a consignment to the Sale, but these will be sold LAST in their respective groups.
