We have read and adhered to all Government and Medical Advice and under those guidelines there is no reason for us to cancel or postpone the Borderway UK Dairy Expo.
All exhibitors and stock attendants have been on site for over 24 hours and are showing no symptoms of the virus, therefore, with no further apparent risk the show of dairy cattle will go ahead from this afternoon.
A dedicated member of staff is monitoring BBC and Government websites to keep updated with any changes in advice and we will act accordingly as required. The position will be reviewed every two hours and an up-to-date statement made at the end of the day regarding tomorrow’s arrangements. Therefore, please be advised that this decision may be changed at short notice.
We would ask people who have experienced any symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, or a dry cough not to attend the event, as well as anyone who has visited a high risk area in the past 14 days or has come into contact with a positive Covid–19 case.
We advise anyone who is considered to be in the ‘at risk’ category, i.e. the elderly, and anyone with pre-existing or underlying health conditions not to attend.
If you can answer ‘YES’ to any of the 3 questions below, please do not attend:
If you are attending, you do so at your own risk, and we would expect strict adherence to the hand washing and sanitizing guidelines whilst on site.
We are taking every possible precaution to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.
