On Friday 4th October, Harrison & Hetherington held their monthly sale of Beef Breeding cattle.
A mixed show of cows and heifers with calves at foot, and in calf heifers sold to a pleasing trade, with 9 out of 10 bulls selling.
Messrs Richardson & son, Laverock Bridge sold a Limousin bull for 2800gns. Messrs McClean, Glentyan sold the top priced Aberdeen Angus bull for 2700gns. Messrs Burleigh, Innishrooske sold the top priced British Blue bull for 2800gns.
Messrs Harryman, Swainsea Barn Farm sold the top priced Limousin cross cow and calf for £1900, and a British Blue cow and calf for £1850.Messrs Clarke, Cringleber sold a British Blue cross cow and calf for £1850.
