On Friday 20th April Harrison & Hetherington held their monthly sale of Beef Breeding cattle.
A small mixed show of cows and heifers with calves at foot were on offer with a small but keen ring side of buyers ensuring a better than expected trade.
A small but quality entry of bulling heifers commanded a strong trade, leaving vendors highly delighted.
Messrs Skelton & Son, Low House run of bulling heifers topped at £1690 for a Limousin cross and averaged £1537. Messrs Faulder, Croft House Farm run of Limousin cross heifers topped at £1650 for twelve, and averaged £1626 for twenty four.
