Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 12th December Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves.  A smaller show of 315 calves were forward with the best calves continuing to be good to sell for young and reared calves.  Plainer types continue to be harder to sell especially the Native heifers.  Top price on the day was £465 for a strong British Blue bull from Messrs Fisher, Smalmstown, Longtown.  Black and whites were sharper on the week with buyers for all classes.
