Borderway Calf Sale

6th February 2019

On Wednesday 6th February Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves with a smaller show of 216 forward.  All beef bred bull calves were in high demand which were noticeably dearer on the week.  Top price was from a tremendous run of well reared British Blues from Messrs Fisher, Smalmstown Farm, which topped at £475 on two occasions for strong bull calves.  Black and whites were similar on the week with younger calves slightly sharper.
