Borderway Calf Sale

20th March 2019

On Wednesday 20th March Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves.  Another fantastic entry of 365 calves forward with the best bred younger calves and strong well reared calves continue to be good to sell.  However, plainer, younger calves and native calves were very hard to sell.

Top price of the day was £490 for a superb British Blue bull from Messrs Reed, Moss Side House, Newton Arlosh.

Topping the dairy section was a strong Montbeliarde bull calf from E A Kitching & Co, Glencartholm Farm, Canonbie selling for £305.
