Borderway Calf Sale

8th May 2019

On Wednesday 8th May, Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves.  Another fantastic entry of 313 calves were on offer with new buyers forward ensuring a sharper trade for all classes.   Younger Continental calves would see the most significant rise on the week.  Top price was £520 for a ¾ bred Limousin bull from Messrs Stewart, Halldykes, Lockerbie.  The best younger and strong black and whites calves continue to be in demand but plainer young dairy bred calves would be cheaper on the week.
