Borderway Calf Sale

22nd May 2019

On Wednesday 22nd May, Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves with a larger show of 286 forward.  The best bred Continental calves would be slightly cheaper than previous weeks but Native calves would be dearer.  Top price was £500 for a strong Charolais bull from Messrs Carlyle, Slealands Burn, Longtown.  Strong black and whites continue to be good to sell, although younger plainer calves are harder to cash.
