Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 2nd October, Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves. a smaller show of 272 calves were forward with strong beef bred bulls being slightly sharper on the week.  Continental heifers and younger plainer beef bulls continue to be hard to sell.  A top price of £440 was achieved for a strong suckler bred Limousin from Graystale Farm, Stirling. All black and whites would be cheaper on the week especially the stronger types.
