Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 9th October, Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves.

A larger show of 333 calves were forward, whereby, young and beef calves sold sharper on the week, however strong continental heifer continue to be harder to cash.

Top price of the day was a strong British Blue bull from Messrs Fisher, Smalmstown, Longtown, selling to £425.

Black and whites continue to sell well, with younger, and plainer calves selling for less on the week.
