Borderway Calf Sale

20th November 2019

On Wednesday 20th November Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of calves with an increase entry of 268 forward.  All classes of beef bred calves were in high demand with young continental bulls seeing the biggest lift on the week.  Top price was £470 for a strong well reared British Blue from Messrs Simpson, Waingate Head, Kirklinton.  A poor show of black and whites continue to be hard to sell especially younger plainer calves.
