Borderway Calf Sale

26th February 2020

A larger show of 378 calves were forward at Harrison & Hetherington’s weekly sale of calves on Wednesday 26th February.   Strong continental calves continue to be in good demand, topping at £530 for a well grown British Blue bull from Messrs Fisher, Smalmstown, Longtown.  Younger continental calves would be easier than previous weeks although new buyers ensured native calves met a much sharper trade. Black and whites continue to be a fantastic trade with buyers forward for all ages.
