Borderway Calf Sale

5th August 2020

On Wednesday, 5th August  Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of 203 calves. The first calf sale to be back on a Wednesday since the beginning of lockdown and prices were a flying trade for all calves.  Topping the sale at £610 was a cracking Limousin bull from Messrs Little, North Greenhill, Roweltown  followed closely be the top price heifer selling at £600 from Messrs Threlkeld,  Beyond the Moss, Penton.   Black and whites were once again in high demand with reared calves regularly selling for £200 plus.  Many more could have been sold to fulfil demand.
