Borderway Calf Sale

6th January 2021

On Wednesday 6th January Harrison & Hetherington held its opening sale of the year with an entry of 310 calves forward.  Trade once again was tremendous.  Topping todays sale at £515 were two Angus bulls from Messrs Vance, Balnab Farm, Newton Stewart.  Heifers topped at £445 for a British Blue heifer from regular consignors Messrs Martin, Tempest Tower.   Dairy bred calves sold to great rates with Montbelairde selling to £445 twice from Messrs Graham, Hillhead.  More calves could have been sold to vendors advantage.
