On Wednesday 31st January Harrison & Hetherington Limited had a larger entry of 257 calves which were a fantastic trade with new buyers forward for all classes. Top price of £495 was achieved twice for tremendous British Blue bulls from Messrs Johnstone, Westray Farm, Sunderland, Cockermouth and Messrs Millar, Trailflatt Farm, Lochmaben, Lockerbie. Black and whites were in great demand topping at £180 from a terrific run from Messrs Goldie, Longbridgemuir Farm, Clarencefield, Dumfries.
