Borderway Calf Sale

8th August 2018

On Wednesday 8th August Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves with a smaller show of 191 forward.   With fewer calves forward combined with a larger ring side of buyers ensured calves were a sharper trade on the week.  Continental bulls would see the biggest rise, with heifers still harder to sell.  Top price on the day was a suckler bred Limousin bull from Messrs Walton & Sons, Dunns House, Otterburn, Newcastle.  Black and whites also were sharper on the week with new buyers present.
