Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 3rd October Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves with a smaller entry of 253 forward.  Bull calves were sharper on the week especially Native bred calves.  Top rice was £475 for a pair of Limousin bulls from Messrs Wilson, Gate Farm, Uldale, Wigton.  Strong black and whites continue to be good, topping at £195 for two from Messrs Goldie, Longbridgemuir Farm, Dumfries.
