On Monday 17th February Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of Store and Breeding Sheep.
STORE SHEEP: A strong but small show of store sheep forward to a large ringside of buyers.
Messrs J Knight, Stephney Farm, Seascale topped the sale at £102 for a pen of Beltex hoggs. Suffolks also sold very well seeing a pen of 19 from Messrs Dixon, Whinney Hill selling to £98.

BREEDING SHEEP: A small offering of breeding sheep were forward to a full ring side of buyers. However due to the recent bad weather, trade was down on the week.
Topping the trade at £153 per head was a consignment of Texel cross ewes from Messrs Anderson, Mesona, Carrutherstown.
