Borderway Second Main Ram Sale

At Borderway Mart on Friday 4th October Harrison & Hetherington held their second main ram sale, whereby a strong entry of 250 rams were forward.

Big and powerful Texel rams continued to sell well, however smaller rams were harder to cash.

Topping the sale was an outstanding Charolais x Beltex ram from Messrs Carlile, Fowrass Farm, selling to £650.

The Annual consignment of rams from Messrs Toppin, Basco Dyke sold to a top of £600 for a Texel shearling, with the run of 24 averaging £460.
