Borderway Store and Breeding Sheep Sale

At Borderway Mart on Monday 1st October Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store and breeding sheep.

STORE SHEEP: A larger show of store lambs were forward, to a good ringside of buyers, however trade was selective and topped at £72 for an excellent pen of 3 Texels from Messrs RF Gargett, Bon Vista. Beltex lambs sold to a top of £70 for a pen of 17 from DW & P Spruce, The Barns.

BREEDING SHEEP: A small entry of breeding sheep were in high demand, with Rouge shearlings topping at £132 from Messrs J Smithson, Skelcies Hall who also sold pens to £130 and £118.
