Borderway Store and Breeding Sheep Sale

At Borderway Mart on Monday 19th November Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store sheep.

A much larger ringside of buyers were present at the sale with the average well up on the week.

The top price of the day was once again set by Messrs Hewson, Well Head Dean topping at £95 for a run of 32 Beltex lambs.

Mules once again sold very well and saw many sheep reaching the £60 mark regularly. Topping the mules was a pen of 9 from Messrs Wigham, Cold Shields, Haltwistle selling to £67. The full run of Mules later went on to average up at £57.12.

With more prospective buyers in attendance, more lambs of all classes are required.
