On Monday 5th October Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store lambs and breeding sheep.
STORE LAMBS: A larger show of mixed quality of store sheep were forward and sold to a good demand.
Topping the day’s trade was a pen of Texel cross lambs from Mr Robert Bell, Main Street, Cockermouth, whose run peaked at £112. Smaller type lambs were once again very well sold, with Texel cross lambs selling into the £70’s regularly.
