Borderway Weekly Calf Sale

18th March 2020

On Wednesday 18th March Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of calves with a smaller show of 290 calves forward. A mixed show saw native bred calves in high demand although continental calves would be slightly easier on the week. Top price was £480 for a strong British Blue from Messrs Fisher, Smalmstown, Longtown. Black and whites continue to be in high demand with new buyers for younger well-bred calves.
