Borderway Weekly Sale of Calves

On Wednesday 21st November Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves.  A smaller show of 177 calves were forward with a better show on offer. Trade was sharper on the week with the best calves in high demand.  Topping at £460 was a British Blue bull calf from Messrs Martin, Tempest Tower, Little Orton.  Strong black and whites continue to be good to sell although younger plainer types were harder to cash.
