Borderway Weekly Sale of Calves

On Wednesday 27th March Harrison & Hetherington Limited held their weekly sale of young calves.  A smaller show of 236 were forward with all classes of Continental calves sharper on the week with the best calves in high demand.  Top price was £580 for a fantastic British Blue bull from Messrs Hetherington, Crookdake House, Wigton.  Strong black and whites were good trade although younger ones and Native bred calves continue to very hard to sell.
