At Broughton Mart on Tuesday 17th September Harrison & Hetherington held their fortnightly sale of store and breeding sheep.
The fortnightly sale of store sheep, had an increased entry forward, whereby trade was strong for all hill bred lambs. Selling to a top of £70 for three pens of Beltex from Messrs IW Barrow & Sons, Jackson Ground, Broughton in Furness. With Texels selling to £61.50 for a pen from A & F Jenkinson & Son, Charles Ground, Millom.
