Lazonby Store Sheep Sale

On Wednesday 12th September 2018 Harrison & Hetherington held their fortnightly sale of store sheep within Lazonby Mart which attracted a record entry of 2463 head.

A large company of buyers both local and travelled ensured a trade to match the wonderful show of lambs, which was a true credit to all vendors.
Messrs Faulder, Ewan Close topped the sale at £79 a head for a fantastic pen of texel cross lambs with well in excess of 30 pens of sheep making £70 or more.
An outstanding show of 1259 mule weather lambs were a flyer of a trade to a top of £70 from Messrs Hall, Nether Horsley with a further 11 pens over £60.
