    On Tuesday, 16th October Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held their Annual sale of 286 suckled calves.  A busy ringside of buyers saw a top priced Limousin bullock from Messrs Richardson, Purdomstone sell at £1280 to Messrs Stodart of Forfar.

    An Aberdeen Angus bullock from Valmar Investments sold for £1050 to Thon Farms, Kincardineshire. Top priced heifer was a nice Limousin from Messrs Richardson, Purdomstone selling for £1120. Top Aberdeen Angus heifer came from Messrs Glendinning, Bridge End selling at £1065.

    A very nice show of cattle and good trade throughout did not disappoint with buyers coming from various parts of the country.
