Middleton in Teesdale Annual Show and Sale of Swaledale Rams

On Friday Harrison & Hetherington conducted the Annual Prize Show & Sale of 180 Swaledale Rams on behalf of the Swaledale Sheep Breeders Association ‘A’ District.

 

Trade was brisk until late in the sale.  The shearling average rose on the year by £61.50 to level at £504.13 for 6 more sold.  Aged Rams averaged £323.33 (-£118.55) and Ram Lambs returning to the sale after a number of years met a total clearance to average £143.33
