Middleton In Teesdale Store Cattle Sale

10th April 2018

On the 10th of April Harrison & Hetherington Ltd held its mid spring sale of store cattle within Middleton-In-Teesdale Mart.
A respectful entry of 82 was met with a very good ringside of buyers which made a very good trade for vendors who were present.
Topping the sale was a truly outstanding Limousin steer from N&P Rutherford, Rigg Side who sold this animal for a total of £1155.
Well fleshed cattle remain in high demand and matched with frantic bidding.
JA Robinson, New House had an outstanding run of 27 Bullocks and heifers averaging just over £900.
Heifers were once again well bid for with them topping at £1050 for a Limousin.
Many more could have been sold to the vendor’s advantage and anyone with any enquiries please get in touch with either Kay or Joe who will be more than happy to help.

We invite entries for our Next sale Store cattle which is a Prize show and sale on Tuesday 8th May.
