St Boswells Annual Term Show & Sale of Cows & Heifers with Calves & Sale of Store Cattle

At St Boswells on Thursday 24th May Harrison & Hetherington held their Annual Term Show and Sale of Cows and Heifers with calves.  Topping the day’s trade was Messrs Douglas, Howahill with a fabulous Limousin.x heifer with steer calf raising £2700.  Good types were sought after with the trade reflecting the quality of stock forward.

Store Cattle –  A larger show of Store Cattle forward on the year.  The days trading was topped at 378p per kg for a pen of tremendous calves from Berryhill.  Messrs Steel, Ayton Cocklaw topped the day at £1175 for a pen of Aberdeen Angus.x bullocks.
