Garden and Architectural Sale at H&H Auction Rooms

A seasonal favourite auction sale at Borderway in Carlisle offering everything from stone troughs and statues to benches, planters and unique outdoor features.

 

H&H Auction Rooms will conduct one of its most popular seasonal sales, the Garden and Architectural Sale on Friday 18^th July. Taking place at the Borderway Exhibition Hall near Carlisle, the sale features almost 250 lots of garden and outdoor items, from stone troughs and statues to vintage benches, cast iron pieces, and decorative features.

 

Highlights of this sale include sandstone and salt-glazed troughs, which can sell for up to £1,000 depending on size and condition, as well as a wide variety of garden furniture, railway-style benches, glazed plant pots, boot scrapers, and several potato scales. The sale includes something for every budget, from large feature pieces to smaller items that can easily fit in a car.

 

The growing interest in outdoor living has made garden architecture more important than ever. Many people now treat their outdoor spaces as an extension of the home, and as houses with attractive gardens are often seen as more desirable, this has created considerable demand, and unusual and decorative items are becoming increasingly sought after.
