Harrison & Hetherington’s Exhibition Hall at Borderway Mart Renamed in Honour of Inspirational Figure in the Company’s History. As part of H&H’s 50 years celebrations at its Borderway site, on Friday 1st November, during Borderway Agri Expo, the Exhibition Hall at was officially named in honour of one of the company’s founding figures, Dick Harrison.

Famous Smithfield Trophy To Be Presented At Borderway Agri Expo

Harrison & Hetherington are delighted to announce that the Supreme Cattle Champion at this year’s Borderway Agri Expo on November 1st will receive the first ever presentation of an historic Royal Smithfield Club trophy. This trophy will be presented to the winner in conjunction with the prestigious Robert L Scott Memorial trophy donated to the show in 2010 by retired H&H Group Chairman and well respected farmer, Michael Scott and his family in memory of their late son.

£1m Investment for Borderway Auction Mart

In planning for its future growth, Harrison & Hetherington marks the 50th anniversary of their flagship Borderway Mart complex in Carlisle with the announcement of a £1 million investment for the erection of a state of the art new roof. Already one of the largest and most important livestock trading hubs in the UK, Borderway Mart is to be given a £1 million new roof that will extend the current coverage of the auction mart complex in Carlisle and create room for further growth as Harrison & Hetherington continues to expand operations in the future.
