Borderway Store Sheep Sale

On Monday 3^0th August Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store sheep.

A larger run of store sheep was forward with all classes once again selling with ease. Top price of the day of £139 was achieved by a pen of Texel lambs from Messrs Lake, Abbey Moss, Heathersgill with another from the same good farming selling for £122. A pen of 6 Texels from Messrs Bradley Farmer, Wester Parkgate Farm, Dumfries also sold for a very respectable £136.

All classed of store sheep are once gain very much in demand with vendors reaping the rewards of the live ring.
