At Wooler on Wednesday 8th September Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 1613 Prime Sheep comprising 1203 Lambs and 410 Cast Ewes

Lambs:

Well fleshed export types in strong demand with many in excess of 270p

All fleshed sorts another good trade but leaner kinds a bit easier in line with national trend

Overall average 238p

Sale was topped with heavy Texels to £134 from R Carr, Little Bavington
