St Boswells Store Cattle Sale

Harrison and Hetherington held their fortnightly sale of store cattle with all cattle keenly bid for.

Topping the day’s trading was a Charolais X Heifer from M/s Hepburn, Crosscleuch raising £1120.

Top pence per kilo went to M/s Douglas, Saughtree, with Limousin X Bullocks at 243ppk.

Limousin: 243p, 239.5p, 238.6p Saughtree, Charolais: 225.8p, 225p Adderstonshiels, Simmental: 221.2p Kirklands.

Bullocks per head-

Limousin: £1000, £990 Saughtree, Charolais: £1080, £1050 Adderstonshiels, Simmental: £1045 Kirklands.
