On Monday 28th September Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store & breeding sheep.
A great entry of 928 store lambs were forward and were greeted by a fantastic trade from a large ringside of buyers. The sale averaged £81.20 overall and topped at £119 for a pen of 7 Beltex lambs from regular consignors Messrs Wood, Well Head Farm. Lambs seeing the greatest return are healthy, longer keep lambs. Messrs Graham, Ashdene sold his run of 23 Texel lambs to average £93.58.
