Kirkby Stephen Store Lamb Sale

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd, Kirkby Stephen Mart held their fortnightly sale of Store lambs on Tuesday when 407 were forward.

Topping the sale at £94.50 were a pen of Texel cross lambs from Messrs Capstick, Yew House, Newbiggin on Lune.

Another pen of twenty one Texel cross lambs sold to make £93.50 and a pen of thirteen hill cheviots selling for £88 all from Yew House.

For the show of lambs on offer, one of the dearest trades seen all season was witnessed with plenty of buyers looking for all classes of store lambs and many more can easily be sold to massive premiums!
