Borderway Calf Sale

On Wednesday 27^th October Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of calves with an entry of 275 forward.  Trade continues to hold well but changeable weather and feed prices starting to notice less customers coming forward.  Topping todays sale at £610 was a cracking Limousin bull from Messrs Beaty, Stonewalls.  Heifers sold to a top of £580 for a Limousin heifer from Messrs Lough, South Lough House with his 3 calves averaging £577.  Black and white sold exceptionally well with more buyers present for younger calves.
