At Wooler on Wednesday 3^rd November Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of primestock selling 788 Prime Sheep comprising 583 Lambs and 205 Cast Ewes & Rams

Lambs:

With weather and standstills, fewer lambs forward with more weight and flesh shown a great trade realised £124 and 265p Overall (SQQ 275p) more lambs required especially export types needed to satisfy Wooler demand

Sale was topped with heavy Texels at £156 from Brockley Hall and Lilburn Estates to Nicholsons Butchers and A Atkinson

Top price per kilo was a great pen of 5 Beltex £129 (37kg) Little Bavington to Vivers Scotlamb at 349p per kilo

A summit of £161 was achieved by last weeks high price selling vendor R J Bradbury, Black Heddon for a pair of Texel ewes
