Borderway Calf Sale

On 3^rd November Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of 325 calves with another large show of good quality which sold with ease.  Topping today’s sale at £640 was a fantastic suckler bred calf from Messrs Dickinsion, Brockwoodlees.  Heifers sold to a top of £430 from Messrs Wood, Groundy Croft.  Black and white calves continue to sell well with the strongest selling well. Feed costs and weather is starting to have impact with less men coming forward for younger and native bred
