On Monday 15th November Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale of store lambs with a smaller show of sheep forward of mixed quality throughout. Smaller leaner types of lambs were harder to sell with quality and size once again selling very well. Top price of the day was secured by Messrs Hennessy, Orton Rigg Farm, Great Orton with a Beltex Lamb selling at £138. A strong pen of 16 Beltex x lambs from Messrs Clark, Quarry Bank, Frizington sold for a very respectable £120. Mule wethers proved much dearer on the week with a pen of mules from Messrs Lamb Burns Farm, Keswick selling for £114.
Many more store sheep are required each week so please make the most of the trade and get in touch with David on 075001713273
