On Thursday 18th November at Lazonby Mart, Harrison & Hetherington held its final sale of store lambs for 2021.
An entry of 500 were presented to a huge ringside of buyers which put sheep to insane heights. Topping the sale was a single Texel lamb from Mr James Little, The Guards selling to £131. Mr Bell, Cockermouth sold a single again for £127. Mules were once again met with a truly astonishing trade with top price coming for a pair from SJ & JM Brown, Bow Hall selling to £114. Swales topped at £81 for a single lamb from Mr James Bell, The Breaks. Feeding ewes topped at £115 from Messrs Brown, Bow Hall for a Texel.
A superb entry for the final sale of the year. A big thank you to all vendors and purchasers for your continued supposed. We look forward to seeing you in 2022.
