Borderway Weekly Sale of Calves

On 24th November Harrison and Hetherington held their weekly sale of 350 calves.  Topping todays sale at £500 were 4 cracking British Blue bulls from Messrs Martin, Tempest Tower.  Heifers topped at £440 for a British Blue heifer from Messrs Reed, Moss Side.  Trade across the board would be slightly easier on the week.  A fantastic run of 25 Blues from Messrs Fisher, Smalmstown sold to average £445.  Black and white calves with strength are still in demand with strong reared calves selling easily in excess of £150.  Although young calves are less money we still have a strong ringside for all classes.
