St Boswells Jacob Sale

The Hope Team made the long journey north and it certainly paid off. Their ram Lamb scooped the Champion ticket and judge Jackie Jones made their ewe lamb Reserve Champion.

Trade on the day was a bit up and down the top prices went to Hope and the Dunmor team 1200gns and 1100gns.

Topping the sale at 1200gns for a ram lamb was Messrs DW & SL Harries with Hope Randy Rock, sired by Hope Rocky Boy and out of a homebred ewe. This lamb was purchased by Messrs Griffiths from Kidwell, Carmarthenshire.

The next best price was 1100gns for a shearling gimmer from Messrs Connor & Dalrymple, this gimmer Dunmor 171419 was sired by Pentrenant Pimms and out of a homebred ewe. This successful buyer on this occasion was Messrs MacMillan from Fintry, Glasgow.

Messrs Harries also sold a ewe lamb for 1000gns which was also purchased by Messrs Griffiths, this lamb was again sired by Hope Rocky Boy and out of a homebred ewe.
