Badger Face Texel Spring Spectacular Sale

The Spring Spectacular Sale of Badgerface Texels took place on Saturday 22^nd May and despite a small entry there was plenty of demand. Topping the sale at 1500gns was Henry Jewitt’s Sunnybank Confetti a January born ewe lamb sired by the imported ram 08480-07456 and out of an imported dam.  This ewe lamb was purchased online by Messrs Abram from Dereham, Norfolk.

Following closely behind at 1400gns was an imported ewe selling with her ram lamb at foot from Stuart Wood. This lamb, Woodies Charlie, was sired by Powerful Tornado and purchased by Messrs Roberts from Llanwrtyd Well, Powys.

Also at 1400gns was another ewe lamb from Henry Jewitt, Sunnybank Crunchie. Crunchie was sired by the imported 26308-22717 and out of an imported ewe who has bred very well for Henry with her progeny grossing over £20,000. This ewe lamb was purchased by Messrs Bradley from Co Londonderry, Norther Ireland.
