Jacob In Lamb SLae

The inaugural Jacob In Lamb sale took place on Friday 19^th November at Borderway Mart where an entry of 42 registered females were forward for sale. Achieving the top price of the sale was 1300gns for a shearling gimmer from the Hope flock belonging to DW & SL Harries. This two horned gimmer sired by Hope Rory was in lamb to homebred ram Hope Flame of Ace, she sold to the Briden flock belonging to Gillian Christian, Norfolk.

Ewan MacMillan’s Luruha flock followed next with a 2018 born ewe sired by Dunmore Ace, she was served by Harbell Lincoln and joins the Dunmor flock, Linlithgow for 1000gns.

The Hope flock follows again with their only ewe entry forward, a 4 horn 2016 born sired by Hyndshaw Gareth out of a homebred ewe, she was scanned a single to the prizewinning Hope Rory and reached 900gns to Messrs Jenkinson, Pembrokeshire.
