Beltex Beauties Sale

The annual Beltex Beauties Sale took place at Carlisle on Friday 28^th August. This sale, which comprises of entries from 14 noted flocks, saw the gimmer Buckles Ferdie from Messrs Buckles top at 20,000gns.

Buckles Ferdie is an Ardstewart Dare Devil daughter and out of Buckles Dixie Delight who is full sister to 30,000gn Buckles Dark Dawn. She sold to the sale topping price of 20,000gns and joins the Lurg flock of Miller Farms, Aberdeenshire.

The Lurg flock made another top price addition to their flock with Airyolland Furina, from Neale & Janet McQuistin. She sold to 15,000gns and was sired by Airyolland Ettrick and out of a Dooley Napal daughter who also who is full sister to 7500gn Andomeda.

Guest consignor James Little, Skiddaw View flock sold Skiddaw View Freya an Ardstewart Coyote daughter out of Skiddaw View Cuite Pie. Freya is full sister to the 2019 Great Yorkshire Show Female Champion and sold for 7000gns to the Eviestones flock, of James Pritchard, Tyne & Wear.

Stuart Wood sold his pen leader Woodies Flamboyant, a Hillview Enforcer daughter who won 1^st prize shearling ram at Great Yorkshire show 2021 and out of an Ardstewart Armani daughter to the Lakeview Flock of Gary Beacom to 5500gns.

The Skiddaw View flock sold 2 full sisters both to 5000gns, they were sired by 14,000gn Ardstewart Coyote and out of 3000gn Broughton Cherry Tutti, and sold to the Logie Durno flock of G & B Ingram and James Pritchard, Eviestones flock.

Jock McMillan’s Clary flock also sold his first gimmer to 5000gns. Clary Friendly was by Smart Ass Dark Horse and out of Clary Delight who won Royal Highland show Champion 2019. She sold jointly to Andrew Morton, Mortons Flock and Nick Gill & Kayley Kennedy of the Nikay flock.
