Borderway Weekly Sale of Calves

On Wednesday 19th January Harrison & Hetherington held their weekly sale with another cracking entry of 350 calves forward.  Another great trade for well reared calves again with younger calves being harder to cash on the week.  Topping todays sale at £535 was a British Blue bull from Messrs Little, North Greenhill who also topped the heifer section at £500.  Native bulls sold to great rates with more of these types on offer.  Topping at £475 for two from Messrs Wadsworth, Big Balcraig Farm for Aberdeen Angus.  Herefords to £415 from Messrs Errington, Sockbridge Hall.  Black and whites from Messrs Wilson, Ormside Lodge sold to £260 with British Friesians to £220 for a young calf from Messrs Jackson, Clarks Farm.
